About the EYPP Intervention Project
The Incredible Eggs EYPP Intervention Project is a resource included with your hatching kit. ‘Widening Life Experiences’ is a central theme and purpose of Pupil Premium funding for EYFS. The experience of having a hatching kit within an early years setting already provides this by it’s very nature. However, the Incredible Eggs EYPP Intervention Project goes much further. It is a ‘stand alone’ project, specifically designed by educational professionals to deliver a structured, individual, targeted intervention to selected EYFS children eligible for PP funding. It also supports 3 of the 7 areas of Learning and Development from the EYFS framework. This will allow the key person from a setting to account to OFSTED that the EYPP funding has been spent wisely and with maximum impact.
If you have several children who attract funding and who would benefit from being involved in this intervention, part of their funding could be pooled to fund the hiring of the resourced hatching kit. There is ample opportunity to run this intervention at least 3 times in the second week of your hire period, to the benefit of at least 3 children and their families.
Key Stage 1 & 2 Intervention Projects
Key Stage 1 & 2 Pupil Premium
These are ‘stand alone’ projects, specifically designed by educational professionals to deliver structured, individual, targeted enrichment to selected children eligible for PP funding. This will allow a school to account to OFSTED that the Pupil Premium funding has been spent wisely and with maximum impact. As well as being highly engaging and great fun to complete, the focus of these projects is on numeracy and literacy.
There are 3 great projects to choose from:
Project 1
Touching on many areas of the national curriculum, including maths, english, science and art and design.
Project 2
Focusing on the following areas of the national curriculum: numeracy, literacy and spoken language. This wonderful activity is great for both involving the whole school in the hatching experience and raising the self-esteem, social skills and engagement of the pupils selected to take part.
Project 3
Focusing on the following areas of the national curriculum: science, numeracy and literacy. Another wonderful activity, which is great for raising the self-esteem and engagement of the pupils selected, whilst developing their ability to work scientifically, mathmatically and literately.
