World Book Day 2025 is almost upon us! We know many of the primary schools we work with celebrate the event and this year we wanted to contribute something really special. We didn’t have to look very far – our educational resource writer extraordinaire, Molly Potter, has recently finished a profound new children’s book, which is beautifully illustrated throughout with oil paintings by Jane Stuart.

As well as regularly writing educational resources for Incredible Eggs, Molly has worked in education in a variety of guises for more than 3 decades and is a best-selling teacher’s and children’s author, with around 40 books published by Bloomsbury and Routledge, amongst others.
We’re excited to announce some fantastic Molly Potter giveaways!
Firstly, we teamed up with Creative Carousel Publishing, who’ve very generously provided us with 5 complimentary copies of Molly’s stunning new book, Wise Eyes and the Wild Things to pass on free of charge to primary schools!
We’ll mail out a copy to the first 5 primary schools who email headoffice@incredibleeggs.co.uk with the heading ‘Wise Eyes’ and which contains the teachers name and school address.

And for those who simply can’t wait or don’t get lucky this time, the book can be purchased from Amazon here. As well as being a beautifully illustrated and thought-provoking book, it really is an inspirational educational resource rich with learning opportunities that will get children buzzing!
But there’s more…a whole lot more!
We’ve also teamed up with Molly directly, who has produced an incredible, extensive resource pack specifically for primary school teachers, which she has created to accompany the book.
Molly told us:
“This resource is packed with engaging activities for use in writing, science, geography, spoken word/drama, PSHE, art and music lessons. You might find yourself debating how we can all arrive at different opinions about the same thing, considering how we deal with uncertainty or wondering what’s great and what’s difficult about team work. But also, the resource inspires story, play and news report writing, considers how animals adapt to different environments and helps children get a sense of global geography – amongst many other things!
The book and resource can even be used to create entertaining and insightful assemblies. Older children—and even adults—love immersing themselves in this book. As a result, it’s also an ideal choice for a post-SATS cross-curricular project.
I would have loved to receive this free resource as a teacher! For a sneaky peek, take a look at this preview: Wise Eyes and the Wild Things Teacher’s Resources Preview.”
The preview shows just a small part of what’s on offer – In celebration of World Book Day, Molly will send teachers/educators the whole download FREE OF CHARGE until the end of March 2025 – simply visit www.mollypotter.com, complete the contact form and ask for the ‘Wise Eyes Resource’. It will be available at a charge after this time, so be quick!

We’d like to thank Molly for making these absolutely brilliant educational resources freely accessible to educators everywhere – we know they will be an invaluable asset to any primary school classroom. We’d also like to thank Creative Carousel Publishing for providing us with 5 copies of Wise Eyes and the Wild Things to pass on to schools free of charge.
We wish you all a wise, wild and wonderful World Book Day 2025!
